Does Hildie like the Brother Hugo and the Marguerite books? My granddaughter is a few months younger, and I am wondering if they are appropriate for a preschooler who has a reasonable attention span, or if we should wait a little longer.
Haley have you ever read any Brian Doyle? I feel like I am always recommending him but he's definitely my favorite literary discovery of the past 5 years.
Just ordered Brother Hugo and the Bear as there were only two copies left on Amazon UK and I bet they’ll sell quickly after your recommendation 😉. I have been on a children’s book buying hiatus for a while because so many I’ve bought have been rubbish but I trust your recommendations! (Actually, the last thing I ordered was a pre-order for your new mouse nuns book!)

The bear on the book cover has the same look on his face as our puppy when he's gotten something forbidden to him. 😄
