I am an old lady who has enjoyed your writing since I found Carrots for Michaelmas. You gave me so much hope for the younger generations and you still do. I pray for many blessings from our Loving Lord, Jesus and His Mother for you and your loved ones.
I am praying for you, and so is God in every way, always remember…
1. Isaiah 41:10
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
This verse reassures us of God’s presence and support during tough times.
2. Philippians 4:13
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
A reminder that Christ’s strength empowers us to endure challenges.
3. Joshua 1:9
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
This encourages courage and strength, knowing God is always with us.
4. Romans 8:28
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
A reminder that God works through every circumstance for our ultimate good.
5. Psalm 46:1
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
God is always present to offer strength and protection in tough times.
6. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
“So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison.”
This verse reminds us to focus on eternal hope, trusting that current struggles are temporary.
Haley-- if you are considering a Go fund Me (one was made for my son's widow and daughters) find out about the percentage GFundMe charges for withdrawals. And if it is taxable. There is another similar thing like GFM that doesn't charge you for withdrawals - that's an option, too. I fully support a GFM or alternative for you. People care about you, and I know they will help. God bless you, dear one.
All shall be well and all shall be well and all manner of things shall be well

I’m putting you in time out for apologizing. You sit by the pool and think about what you did. 😤

Prayers being offered. And no apologies-you are doing what matters most by being present to your family. May Mother Mary wrap you in her loving mantle
Just purchased Women of the Catholic Imagination for the library in the youth room for my youth group!! I'm sure they'll love it! :)
