Glad you're all safe! And congrats on the brand new podcast! Also, something you said about children's books resonated strongly with me: "How can writers, artists, parents, and educators offer narratives of hope in a culture that fills our young people with despair?" This is what, I hope, to do with my own stories. Thanks for always being an inspiration, Haley!

Glad to know you are safe. I remember vividly some storms from my Texas childhood. The awe and terror you feel after is something else. I loved the first episode of the podcast! I can’t thank you enough for addressing Harry Potter. I loved the books as a kid and have struggled as an adult with scrupulosity related to Catholics telling me they were demonic etc. I’m definitely going to look into Nancy’s book

Haley, I’m so grateful that you and your family are all ok! Here in southern Minnesota we’re at the northern edge of Tornado Alley, and tornadoes are dangerous storms.

1. What would be the best relief organization to donate to to help the people of your town? The local branch of Catholic Charities?

2.) I’d LOVE to see author Katherine Paterson (still alive and going strong at age 91 and a devout Protestant) and author/illustrator Jan Brett appear on your new podcast! 🙂
